Custom Widgets

WordPress Widgets add content and features to your sidebars. For instance, the default widgets that come preloaded with a clean installation of WordPress include post categories, tag clouds, navigation, search, etc. Besides, a lot of other widgets are created by our developers to display content on the website. Available Widgets lists all the current widgets that are installed with your copy of the theme. To use a widget, simply drag and drop it to the sidebar and reload the appropriate page to display its content.

  • Adsense or Adsense – Two Banner: Displays one or two banners or advertising images on your website.
  • Drag and drop Adsense or Adsense – Two Banner widget to the sidebar you want to display.

  1. Add widget Title (if necessary)
  2. Add Image URL (This is very important, go to Media » Library and click Add New to upload the image you will use in Adsense widget, after that, click on that image, you will see Image URL on the right side of the image, copy that URL and paste on Image URL of Adsense widget).
  3. Link to (may have)
  4. Click Save button to save.


You can upload one or two images, the image will be shown as below:

  • Articles Big & Small Thumb: Display articles list with big and small thumbnail.
  • Drag and drop Articles Big & Small Thumb into the sidebar where you want to display. Select categories, Relation, Tags, Order, Order by, enter the number of items to post and click Save.

  1. Select Categories (You can select single category or multi categories, if you do not select any category, your website will show all posts with gallery format in all categories.
  2. Select Tag (You can select single tag or multi tag, if you do not select any tag, your website will show all posts with gallery format).
  3. Select Relation AND – Display posts which belong to categories and have selected tags.
  4. Select Order to arrange the displaying order of posts according to DESC or ASC.
  5. Select Order by to display post order by Date, Random or Number of comment
  6. Custom Number of posts The default is 4, yet you can change it.


The image represents how the widget will appear on the front-end:

  • Articles Masonry: Display articles list with masonry layout.
  • Drag and drop Articles Masonry into the sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Select categories, Relation, Tags, Order, Order by, Enter the number of items to post and Save.

  • Articles Medium Thumbnail Above Content: Display articles list with medium thumbnail above content.
  • Drag and drop Articles Medium Thumbnail Above Content into the sidebar you want. Select categories, Relation, Tags, Order, Order by, Enter the number of items to post and Save.

  • Articles Only Title: Display articles list with only title.
  • Drag and drop Articles Only Title into the sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Enter the title, select category, tags or combine them, enter number of items to show, then click Save.

  • Articles Slider: Display a big slider with pagination.
  • Dragging and dropping this widget into Sidebars which display its contents. Enter the title, select category and/ or tags, order by, enter number of items, enter custom excerpt length, then click Save.

  • Article Slider Fourth: Display a big slider with next and previous arrow.
  • Drag and drop Article Slider Fourth widget into the sidebar where you want to display. Select category and/ or tags, order by, enter number of posts, then click Save.

  • Articles Slider Second: Display the one big slider with flex carousel and list of posts according to categories so you can view them in detail.
  • Drag and drop Article Slider Second widget into the sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Select category and/ or tags, order by, enter number of posts, then click Save.

  • Articles Slider Third: Display a big slider with pagination and show number of comments for posts
  • Drag and drop Article Slider Third widget into the sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Select category and/ or tags, order by, enter number of posts, then click Save.

  • Articles Small Thumbnail Above Content: Display articles list with small thumbnail above content.
  • Drag and drop Articles Small Thumbnail Above Content into the sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Select categories, Relation, Tags, Order, Order by, Enter the number of items to post and Save.

  • Articles Square Thumbnail: Display articles list with square thumbnail.
  • Drag and drop Articles Square Thumbnail into the sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Select categories, Relation, Tags, Order, Order by, Enter the number of items to post and Save.

  • Articles Tabs: Display a articles list with tabs layout by index: popular, recent, comment.
  • Drag and drop Articles Tabs into the sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Select categories, Relation, Tags, Enter the number of items to post and Save.

  • Articles Two Columns: Display a articles list with layout two columns
  • Drag and drop Articles Two Columns into the sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Select categories, Relation, Tags, Enter the number of items to post, enter Title and link URL and Save.

  • Articles Vertical Rectangle Thumb: Display articles list with vertical rectangle thumbnail.
  • Drag and drop Articles Vertical Rectangle Thumb into the sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Select categories, Relation, Tags, Order, Order by, enter the number of items to post and Save.

  • Articles Vertical Rectangle Thumb Carousel: Display articles list with vertical rectangle thumbnail with carousel effect.
  • Drag and drop Articles Vertical Rectangle Thumb Carousel into the sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Select categories, Relation, Tags, Order, Order by, enter the number of items to post and Save.

  • Articles Vertical Scroll: Display articles list with vertical scroll.
  • Drag and drop Articles Vertical Scroll to the sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Select categories, Relation, Tags, Order, Order by, enter the number of items to post and Save.


    The following image shows how the widget looks like:

  • Articles Video: Display articles list videos posts according to categories or tags.
  • Drag and drop Article Video into sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Enter the title or not, select categories, Relation, Tags, Order by, enter the number of items to show then Save.

  • Contact Information: The widget allows showing contacting information such as your email, phone number, address on the footer. You can enter your information in Appearance » Theme Option » General Settings » Contact Info.
  • Drag and drop Contact Information into the sidebar where you want it to be displayed. Enter title then Save

  • Newsletter Form: It displays email subscriptions form. Dragging and dropping this widget into sidebar that you want to display.

Note: Here are the steps to set up email subscription newsletter:

  • Assuming you already have setup Google feedburner feed account, login to My Feeds at Google Feedburner site. Click on the feed you want to set up email subscription for. Click on Publicize tab and then click on Email subscriptions link under services as shown below:
  • Then click on Activate button to activate the email subscriptions for your feed.
  • Next click on Subscription management as shown below:


    If you are looking for subscription link code which you can put on your website. Here is how the subscription link code looks like:

    Please note that you can also use the embeddable subscription form code instead of subscription link code. It will put the email subscription form with email address text box on your site itself.
  • Next go to communication preference and enter from email and confirmation email subject and body as desired.
  • Then go to email branding settings and enter Email subject/title, logo URL, etc..
  • Next goto to delivery options and set a schedule email delivery time.

  • Note that feedburner sends email once a day and the frequency is not configurable. You can only pick the time. It looks at all the recent posts and if there is no new post since it sent last subscription email, then it does not send any email.

  • And last, dragging and dropping Kopa Newsletter widget to sidebar which you want to display.
  • Latest Twitter: It displays list tweets from twitter.com. Drag and dropp this widget into Sidebar which you want to display.

  1. Add Title widget
  2. Add User Name
  3. Custom Number of item
  4. Add Consumer key
  5. Add Consumer secret
  6. Add Oauth access token
  7. Add Oauth access token secret

Click Save button to save.


Note: Create Generate API Key, API Token, Access Key for Twitter OAuth
To make things straight, you have to create a Twitter application to generate Twitter API Keys, Access Token and secret keys and so on.

  • Creating a Twitter Application


  • To use Twitter counter widget and other Twitter related widgets, you need OAuth access keys. To get Twitter Access keys, you need to create Twitter Application which is mandatory to access Twitter.

    1. Go to https://dev.twitter.com/apps/new and log in, if necessary
    2. Enter your Application Name, Description and your website address. You can leave the callback URL bpty.
    3. Accept the TOS, and solve the CAPTCHA.
    4. Submit the form by clicking the Create your Twitter Application
    5. Copy the consumer key (API key) and consumer secret from the screen into your application
  • Create Your Access Token for OAuth

  • After creating your Twitter Application, you have to give the access to your Twitter Account to use this Application. To do this, click the Create my Access Token.

  • Get the API Key, API Secret, Access Token, Access Token Secret
  • In order to access the Twitter, that is to get recent tweets and twitter followers count, you need the four keys such as API Key, API Secret, Access token, Access Token Secret.

  • Recent comment With Avatar: Display your recent comments with avatar image. Enter title and number of post comment then Save

  • Kopa Text: Display Arbitrary text, HTML or shortcodes. Drag and drop Kopa Text widget into the sidebar where you want it to display. Enter the title and arbitrary text, HTML or shortcodes into the content.
